After their polymer tile roofs were destroyed by hail, Springlake Village Association in Colorado Springs, CO decided to re-roof their entire HOA with F Wave. Shortly after the new F Wave roofs were installed, another intense hailstorm blew through the village, but this time their roofs came out on top thanks to the enhanced durability of F Wave REVIA Synthetic Shingles.

This is what the Springlake Village Association’s President, Rebecca Mullane, had to say about how F Wave has positively impacted Springlake’s Board Members and residents so far:

“As a community, Springlake has been in existence since 1984. In 2018, we had a a level 4 hailstorm come through that destroyed our existing polymer roofs. In February of 2019, The Board reached out to Heritage Roofing & Contracting to present options for roofing materials. Heritage recommended F Wave. An F Wave Representative also met with our Board Members. We were aware that it was a new product but the Board was impressed with the style, colors, and materials that would be installed on our roofs if we chose F Wave REVIA Synthetic Shingles. After installation was complete, we were very pleased with our community’s new F Wave roofs and so were our residents! In the latter part of 2019, the HOA suffered another Level 3 hailstorm that probably escalated to a Level 4 hailstorm and lasted for 45 minutes. Needless to say it was a mortifying experience! We were amazed to learn that the hailstorm did not damage any of the F Wave shingles in the 52 Unit complex. Another positive feature of F Wave is that it has a coarse exterior that is not visible on the roof unlike our previous polymer roofs that had a slick exterior that caused large amounts of snow to slide off the roof. Both F Wave and Heritage advised us that given the manufacturing process of the shingles, avalanches would be unlikely. Since then, we have had several heavy snows and there have been no snow slides on any of our units, some of which have very steep roofs. It is also important to note that F Wave’s Representatives actually respond to emails and phone calls! In conclusion, we feel very fortunate to have these roofs in our complex and are grateful to Heritage Roofing for recommending this product. I feel comfortable recommending F Wave!”

We’d like to thank the Heritage Roofing and Construction team for doing such a great job re-roofing this HOA and creating the video below to document the project.
