2.5X Stronger
Nail Pull Test* (At 73º F)
How much force it takes to pull a nail through a shingle.
Tear Test*
How much force it takes to tear a shingle.
How much force it takes to break the sealant bond.
*Based on F Wave test results vs. leading asphalt shingle manufacturers. Values shown are based on average test results.

– Glued layers can delaminate over time
– Granule loss leads to cracking & UV degradation
– Low tear strength & impact resistance
– Improper nailing leads to blow-off in high winds
– Engineered materials for maximum durability
– No granules, no asphalt, superior performance
– Superior tear strength & impact resistance
– Designed for easy installation & high-wind performance
Finally. A shingle that stands up to hail.
From a company that stands behind it with a 2″ hail warranty.
In the latter part of 2019, the HOA suffered another Level 3 hailstorm that probably escalated to a Level 4 hailstorm and lasted for 45 minutes... We were amazed to learn that the hailstorm did not damage any of the F Wave shingles in the 52 Unit complex.
